Job summary

UW-Stevens Point is seeking a part-time Community Development Assistant (CDA) in Residence Life. The CDA lives in the hall, promotes staff development and community programs, and supports administrative tasks.

Duties include training, planning desk operations, and collaboration with hall staff and the Residence Hall Director. The role requires you to be a current UW-Stevens Point student, enrolled full-time, with a minimum GPA of 2.5.

Qualifications

• Criminal Background Check required.
• Available to work the full contracted date for the entire academic year.
• GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• Experience living in a residence hall for more than 2 semesters.

Responsibilities

• Promote hall staff success through creativity, design and collaboration.
• Attend training and design materials for hall staff.
• Maintain open communication with the Residence Hall Director about plans and concerns.
• Complete five office hours per week for administrative desk responsibilities.
• Supervise desk staff and support program boards with events and training.
