Visiting Angels Springfield is hiring a Live-In Certified Nurse Aide to provide compassionate in-home care to seniors across Central Illinois. The role offers flexible full-time/part-time/PRN hours, with night and weekend differentials and weekly pay.

A $400 sign-on bonus is available, plus benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance and paid orientation. You will assist with medication reminders, mobility, personal care, meals, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship,

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education; compassionate and able to provide personal care.
• Ability to follow care plans and maintain client safety.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication

Live-In Certified Nurse Aide Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Live-In Certified Nurse Aide Requirements

• Passion to serve others - a true caregiver
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
