Visiting Angels Springfield is seeking a Live-In Certified Nurse Aide to provide compassionate in-home care for seniors in the Central Illinois area. The role offers flexible hours, including weekdays, nights, and weekends, with opportunities for full-time or part-time schedules and mileage reimbursement.

Employees receive a $400 sign-on bonus, weekly pay, a comprehensive benefits package, and ongoing training through our caregiver mentor program.

Qualifications

• Must be a compassionate caregiver dedicated to seniors.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid.
• Ability to perform housekeeping and meal preparation with dietary awareness.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Strong time management and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and compassionate with strong ethics.
• Must own a vehicle with current insurance.
• Social Security Card.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.).
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients with routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able).
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
