Job summary

Visiting Angels Springfield is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our caregiving team in the Springfield area. The role focuses on compassionate in-home care, mobility assistance, and daily living support for seniors and adults in need.

This position offers a $400 sign-on bonus, weekly pay, and flexible scheduling with full-time, part-time, and PRN options. Transportation mileage reimbursement and benefits are available for eligible employees.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility for appointments, walks, etc.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Help with routine exercises and mobility.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input when able.
• Do client shopping or accompany them while shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks patients can’t complete alone.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
