Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a caregiver.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and means of transportation.
• Ability to lift significant weight and assist in transferring clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, conversation and social interaction.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Meal preparation and grocery shopping.
• Safety supervision and safe mobility assistance to help prevent falls.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and incontinence care.
• Transportation for errands and appointments.
• Medication reminders and assistance with filling prescriptions.
• Follow care plan and report notes and changes to the care team.
• Facilitate medical appointments and related health activities.
• Participate in monthly in-service trainings.
