Job summary

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is seeking a compassionate in-home Caregiver for a client in Bothell, WA. You will provide daily living support, follow care plans, and communicate with family and care team to ensure comfort and quality of life.

The role emphasizes independence, safety, and compassionate care, with responsibilities ranging from personal care to meal prep and companionship. Valid driver's license and CPR are desired, with full scheduling flexibility.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and car insurance.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association preferred/required as applicable.
• Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable approach to client care.
• Ability to work independently and follow established care plans.
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping and meal preparation, including dietary considerations.
• Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability and endurance to perform required caregiving tasks.
• Active CNA or HCA with Nurse Delegation.
• Successful completion of a background check and reference verification.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, bathing, dressing, and mobility.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility inside and outside the home.
• Prepare and serve meals while following dietary requirements.
• Provide medication reminders as directed.
• Assist clients with prescribed exercises and recommended activities.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks that the client is unable to complete independently.
• Assist with shopping or accompany clients on errands when needed.
• Monitor and communicate changes in the client's condition or behavior.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, nurses, and other members of the care team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Respond appropriately and responsibly to emergencies or unusual situations.
