Job summary

Home Instead Grayslake is seeking caring Live-in Caregivers to join our team and help seniors stay in their homes with dignity and compassion.

Responsibilities include companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and reminders for medications and appointments. Prior experience is not required as training is provided, and we support our Care Pros with 24/7 resources and competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Cares for aging adults with dignity and respect.
• Ability to communicate compassionately with clients and families.
• No prior experience required; training provided by Home Instead.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Perform light housekeeping and simple meal preparation.
• Assist with medication reminders and appointment management.
• Support clients with daily activities to maintain independence.
• Ensure safety and respond to client needs with empathy.

Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow aging adultsto remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

• Companionship and conversation

• Ability to treat and care for aging adultsand their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and compassionate manner
• Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance (required if driving clients)
