Job summary

Home Instead is seeking caring and compassionate Live-in Caregivers to join our team and help aging adults live at home with dignity and compassion. Primary duties include companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, and reminders for medications and appointments.

No prior experience is required; Home Instead provides skills training. A valid driver’s license may be required if driving clients.

Qualifications

• Companionship and conversation with clients.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Medication reminders and appointment reminders.
• Alzheimer's care support.
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and compassionate manner.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance (if driving clients).
• No previous experience required; skills training provided by Home Instead.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation to aging adults.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
• Provide medication and appointment reminders as needed.
• Support clients with Alzheimer’s care needs with dignity and respect.
• Communicate with clients in a friendly, compassionate manner.
• Drive clients when required and maintain valid insurance.

Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate Live-in Caregivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of expanding the world’s capacity to care. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow aging adults to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Alzheimer’s Care
• Ability to treat and care for aging adults and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and compassionate manner
• Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance (required if driving clients)
• No previous experience necessary - skills training provided by Home Instead
