Job summary

Home Instead is seeking caring and compassionate Live-in Caregivers to join our team and help aging adults live at home with dignity and support.

Primary responsibilities include companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, and Alzheimer’s care. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance are required if driving clients. No prior experience is necessary as comprehensive training is provided. Competitive pay and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Must have compassion and patience for aging adults.
• Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully.
• Reliable and trustworthy with clients and their homes.
• No prior experience required; skills training provided by Home Instead.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engaging conversation.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
• Provide medication and appointment reminders to clients.
• Assist with Alzheimer’s care and daily living activities.
• Treat clients and their property with dignity and respect.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and staff.

Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow aging adults to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Alzheimer’s Care
• Ability to treat and care for aging adults and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and compassionate manner
• Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance (required if driving clients)
• No previous experience necessary - skills training provided by Home Instead
