Home Instead is seeking caring CAREGivers to join our team and help aging adults stay in their homes with dignity and compassion. The role includes companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and reminders for medications and appointments.

Ideal candidates communicate warmly and clearly, respect clients and their property, and can meet background, driving record, and drug screening requirements. A valid driver’s license and insurance may be needed for driving clients.

Qualifikationen

• Experience providing non-medical in-home care.
• Ability to follow care plans and safety procedures.
• Comfort with communicating gently with clients and families.

Aufgaben

• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
• Provide medication and appointment reminders as directed.
• Support clients with Alzheimer’s care routines.
• Respect client property and maintain dignity and privacy.
• Communicate with clients in a friendly, respectful manner.
• Complete required background, driving and drug screenings.

Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.Primary Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Alzheimer’s Care
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen
• Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance (required if driving clients)
