Job summary

Home Instead is seeking caring Live-in Caregivers in Grayslake, IL to help aging adults live independently at home. You will provide companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, and reminders for medications and appointments.

No experience is required as Home Instead offers training. A valid driver’s license and auto insurance are needed if you drive clients, and you will communicate with clients in a friendly, compassionate manner.

Qualifications

• No prior experience is required; Home Instead provides skills training.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance if driving.
• Ability to communicate with clients in a caring and respectful manner.

• Provide companionship and conversation to clients.

Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate Live-in Caregivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of expanding the world’s capacity to care. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow aging adults to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Alzheimer’s Care
• Ability to treat and care for aging adults and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and compassionate manner
• Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance (required if driving clients)
• No previous experience necessary - skills training provided by Home Instead
