Job summary

Girl Scouts of Wisconsin – Badgerland is seeking a Camp Ranger to oversee Camp Ehawee’s daily operations, safety, and upkeep. This role requires live-onsite housing and serves as the primary contact for facilities, maintenance, and emergencies, reporting to the Director of Facilities.

Based at Mindoro, WI, the job involves five 7.5-hour days, year-round housing, and occasional weekends to support camp activities. A strong background in trades, leadership, and safety management is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade certs helpful.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certifications preferred or willing to obtain.
• Strong leadership, safety awareness, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversees maintenance and repair of camp facilities, grounds, and equipment.
• Ensures safety and cleanliness of all facilities and program spaces.
• Supervises maintenance staff and coordinates contractors as needed.
• Maintains records, budgets, and compliance with GSUSA standards.
