ThredUP is seeking a dynamic Whatnot live-show host at our Lancaster, TX distribution center. You’ll bring secondhand fashion stories to life, showcase pieces on camera, and turn viewers into buyers in real time.

This independent contractor role requires energy, strong fashion knowledge, and ability to interact with customers as shows run 2+ hours. You’ll pull items, highlight fabrics and fit, answer questions live, and track what sells to inform product teams.

Formación

• Comfortable on camera for 2+ hour shifts.
• Background in content creation or performance (live selling on Whatnot, theatre, dance, improv).
• Passion for fashion, secondhand, and sustainability.
• Deep product knowledge: fashion brands, fabrics, fit, and quality.
• Adaptable, quick-witted, and engaging with viewers.

Responsabilidades

• Host live shows on Whatnot and other platforms, sourced by ThredUP.
• Pull and prepare pieces; know brand, size, condition, and price before the live show.
• Show each piece clearly: fabric, fit, flaws, styling ideas.
• Run the pace of the show; keep energy up and product moving.
• Answer viewer questions in real time and respond to chat.
• Track what sells and flag trends to product/merchandising teams.
