Job summary

ThredUp is seeking a Live Selling Host to present secondhand fashion through live-stream platforms. You will engage viewers, showcase curated inventory, and drive sales by highlighting brand, fabric, fit, and styling potential.

The ideal candidate is camera-ready for extended periods, passionate about fashion and resale, and comfortable in a dynamic live environment. Prior live-selling or content creation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Host live-stream shopping shows on Whatnot and other channels.
Review and prep inventory before each show with product details.
Present apparel clearly, highlighting fabric, fit, quality, condition, and styling.
Maintain engaging pace and energy to encourage viewer participation and sales.
Respond to viewer questions in real time and keep show organized.
Demonstrate product knowledge and communicate the appeal of secondhand fashion.
Monitor sales performance and identify popular items and trends.
Share observations with merchandising teams.
Work in a fast-paced DC environment, handling inventory for live presentation.
