BEAT THE BOMB in Charlotte is hiring a Bomb Technician to run and maintain the Bomb Rooms, guide guests through immersive experiences, and ensure a safe, engaging environment. This full-time role requires hands-on work, comfort with getting a bit messy, and a passion for live digital gaming.

You will handle setup, safety checks, room maintenance, and assist with tech systems. Weekend/evening shifts and holidays required; strong teamwork and customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Role focuses on operating and maintaining Bomb Rooms and ensuring guest safety.
• Candidate should be comfortable with physical tasks and getting a little messy.
• Experience with mechanical or technical systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Bomb Room Operations: Run all blasts per HQ standards and prep materials.
• Guest Service: Guide guests through the experience and assist with suit removal/cleanup.
• Guest Safety: Enforce safety protocols and adjust settings for safe operation.
• Maintenance: Clean, test blasts, check for air leaks, inspect wiring.
• Inventory Management: Track tools and blast materials; keep stock updated.
• Tech Support: Operate and maintain game systems and control boxes.
