Job summary

Beat The Bomb DC is seeking an entry-level Game Technician to join our Ivy City venue. If you enjoy tech, theater or entertainment, you’ll help maintain and troubleshoot systems across check-in PCs, waiver tablets, POS, video/audio, and show spaces while delivering an immersive guest experience.

You’ll work with our HQ Tech team to keep software up-to-date, manage hardware, and handle simple facilities tasks.

Qualifications

Embodies BEAT THE BOMB's Core Values and teamwork mindset.
IT tech support experience expected.
Comfort with Windows operating systems.
Familiarity with audiovisual systems and IP networking.
Experience with remote desktop tools (e.g., TeamViewer).
Ability to replace PC hardware and configure OS.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Willingness to work weekends.

Responsibilities

Tech Support: maintain and troubleshoot check-in PCs, waiver tablets, POS, video/audio, lighting, game rooms and network operations.
Customer Experience: assist guests and perform guest-facing duties as a Game Runner when not addressing tech issues.
Maintenance: daily upkeep of hardware, cable connections, and game readiness.
Software and Inventory Management: help HQ keep software up-to-date and manage tech inventory.
Reporting and Facilities: monitor End-of-Day reports and perform simple facilities tasks.
