Job summary

Oak View Group in Owensboro, Kentucky is seeking an experienced Event Manager to serve as the liaison between clients, the show manager, and building operations staff. You will ensure policies are followed, coordinate logistics, run the event, and address any safety or service issues in real time.

The role requires 3–5 years of event management experience in a public assembly facility or similar venue and a bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college/university required.
• 3–5 years of event management experience in a public assembly facility or similar.
• Flexible schedule including long/irregular hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate logistics for assigned events and liaise with all parties involved.
• Communicate requirements to building staff before and during events; prepare event resumes and staffing docs.
• Develop and monitor event budgets; coordinate post-event financial settlements.
