Job summary

Q Center is seeking a Full Time Producer for Live Production Meetings & Events to lead events from concept through closeout. The Producer will maintain client relationships during discovery, design, and delivery, collaborating with the Q Creative team and internal departments. The position is on-site, with evenings and weekends possible, generally a 45 hour workweek.

Starting rate is $60,000/year. The role requires a four-year degree in a related field and at least 3 years of live event

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Communications, Event Production, Theatre, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of live event production and/or project management experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
• Problem solving with quick issue resolution.
• Proficient at MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams.
• Proficient in presentation graphics (PowerPoint/Keynote) and web broadcast (Teams, Zoom).
• Knowledgeable in theatrical technical staging (audio, video, lighting, scenic).
• Familiar with Adobe Creative and 3DS Max.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary client contact through project life cycle.
• Support sales through proposal development and client consultation.
• Focus on client’s program objectives and audience experience.
• Ask focused questions to understand client goals.
• Develop, track, and reconcile project budgets and margins.
• Schedule space, equipment, and people to meet project needs.
• Lead graphic design and video editing to produce finished products.
• Create production schedules and show flows for live events.
• Manage production teams and client assets during events.
• Review and approve vendor invoices and project billings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends.
• Assist with scenic, lighting, audio, and video equipment setup and operation.
• Present Q Creative offerings to clients.
