Q Center is seeking a Full Time Producer for Live Production Meetings & Events on-site in Illinois. The role drives events from concept to post-close, balancing client goals with creative, technical, and logistical execution.

Expect a 45-hour week, occasional evenings and weekends, and close client collaboration across departments. The starting rate is $60,000/year with benefits including PTO, 401(k) with match, insurance, EAP, and more.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Communications, Event Production, Theatre, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of live event production and/or project management experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
• Demonstrate problem solving skills with ability to quickly resolve issues.
• Proficient at MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams.
• Proficient in presentation graphics (PowerPoint/Keynote), web broadcast (Teams, Zoom, etc.).
• Knowledgeable in theatrical technical staging (audio, video, lighting, and scenic).
• Familiar with Adobe Creative and 3DS Max (proficiency a plus).

Responsibilities

• Lead live events through conception to post-event closeout.
• Maintain productive client relationships throughout discovery, design, and delivery.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, Q Creative team, and internal departments.
• Develop production schedules and show flows for efficient event delivery.
• Lead production teams and manage client content assets during events.
• Review vendor invoices and manage project billings.
• Mentor team members and share knowledge across projects.
