Job summary

Oak View Group seeks an experienced Event Manager to lead events at The Thief River Falls Complex in Minnesota. The role covers planning, staffing, budgeting, and on-site supervision from move-in to post-event wrap, with strong focus on customer service and safety.

You will oversee box office operations, coordinate with promoters, manage seating manifests, and ensure accurate financial reporting and payroll for event staff. A background in ticketing systems and venue operations is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of event management experience in a stadium, arena, convention center, or public assembly facility setting.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university with major coursework in facility management, hospitality management, business, or related field.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and budget awareness.

Responsibilities

• Advance, plan, service, and supervise all events.
• Plan, direct and evaluate the work of subordinates.
• Provide leadership and guidance for event personnel.
• Coordinate ticketing, box office activities, and payroll and financial settlements.
• Serve as Manager on Duty as scheduled; build events in ticketing systems and manage seating and pricing.
• Develop and implement ticket sales programs and ensure excellent customer service.
