Job summary

Colen Built Development seeks an Entertainment & Events Manager to orchestrate The Nest at Calesa’s dynamic calendar of entertainment and community programming. You will lead booking, ticketing strategy, and on-site execution, aligning guest experience with revenue and brand standards.

The role requires 3–5 years in event management, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and event platforms. Evening and weekend availability is expected for event days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in hospitality, event management, business, marketing, or communications.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in event management, live entertainment, or venue operations.
• Experience booking entertainment, negotiating terms, and managing contracts with agents or vendors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ticketing/event-management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve the event calendar across The Nest campus, balancing revenue and guest experience.
• Lead negotiations for entertainment, contracts, and partnerships; manage deal paperwork and payments.
• Set ticketing strategy, pricing, and capacity controls; coordinate with marketing and operations.
• Plan staffing for events; brief/on-call staff; coordinate with F&B, security, facilities, and vendors.
• Oversee on-site event execution, post-event recaps, and performance analysis.
