Job summary

Paylocity is seeking an Entertainment Director to plan and execute weekly resident events and quarterly large events across luxury apartment communities. The role involves coordinating budgets, vendors, and sponsorships, plus marketing and community engagement activities.

You will report to ownership weekly on event outcomes and to the Community Manager for budget and community needs, coordinating with office and maintenance staff to ensure timely execution.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event planning, hospitality, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication skills and a passion for community engagement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management platforms.
• Experience with social media management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize an average of 3 events per community per week, with monthly budgets.
• Collaborate with local businesses to sponsor or host events at minimal cost.
• Create event calendars for print and digital distribution; manage supplies and setup.
• Plan and execute 5 large annual events, including themed parties and seasonal gatherings.
• Maintain vendor relationships and report budgets and outcomes to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with leasing teams to promote open houses and marketing initiatives.
• Attend local business events to network and secure partnerships.
• Manage social media postings to highlight events and community engagement.
