Canada's Wonderland seeks a dynamic theatrical technician to support scenic and prop work for live events and productions. You will operate and maintain equipment, help with painting and carpentry, and assist during rehearsals under Production Staff guidance.

Ideal candidates bring basic technical theatre skills, a strong team attitude, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. Ladders, lifts, and safety protocols are part of daily duties, with a requirement to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain technical support on equipment for live events and productions.
• Maintain show quality standards as set by production staff.
• Perform assignments for scenic and prop elements in live events and productions.
• Provide basic troubleshooting and maintenance for scenic elements, props, and painting.
• Be involved in rehearsal and operation of events under Production Staff direction.
• Navigate in, on, or around scenic elements in potentially dark spaces.
• Report unsafe acts to the unit Stage Manager.
• Train new personnel as needed.
