Job summary

Canada's Wonderland seeks an experienced Audio/Lighting Technician to support live entertainment across the park, including animal presentations and seasonal shows. You will operate and troubleshoot audio and lighting systems, mix for performers, and manage playback and show cues with a focus on reliability and safety.

You will work closely with entertainment staff to stage productions, participate in rehearsals, and assist with setup/strike and equipment maintenance to ensure top-quality

Qualifications

• Standing for long periods, often while performing duties.
• Ability to operate under changing weather and temperatures.
• Physical ability to lift 5–10 pounds.
• Occasional lifting over 51 lbs with assistance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate audio and lighting systems for live productions and events.
• Mix live audio for vocalists, presenters, and performers.
• Run playback systems, mics, wireless gear, and show-control elements.
• Program and troubleshoot lighting consoles and fixtures.
• Perform pre-show checks and maintain equipment inventory.
• Collaborate with production staff to ensure smooth show execution.
