Job summary

Solotech is seeking a Rigging Technician to prepare, scan rented equipment, QC and perform basic repairs. You will assist with loading/unloading and maintaining inventory in Nashville.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of inventory systems. Forklift/scissorlift certification is preferred; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to problem solve in a fast paced environment.
• Thoroughness and attention to detail.
• Well-developed organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• QC, maintain/repair motor cables, truss, motors and rigging hardware on return.
• Keep the warehouse organized; report damage to the Manager.
• Pull orders for Upcoming Events & Internal Transfers.
• Perform periodic Inventory counts to maintain availability.
• Familiar with Entertainment Rigging & applicable equipment/hardware (Preferred).
• Prepare, scan, and receive orders in R2 Inventory system.
• Ensure that all equipment to be sent out is in the best working condition possible.
• Report any equipment damages and/or shortages to the Manager in a timely manner.
• Upgrade items to the current version (e.g. software updates, painting, cleaning, etc.).
• Follow Rigging Quality Control Protocols and Solotech standards.
• Ability to operate a Forklift & Scissorlift.
• Any other duties related to the position as deemed necessary by the Manager/Operations.
