Job summary

OPRY ENTERTAINMENT is seeking a Line Cook to join our high-energy venues. You will prepare ingredients, cook items to exact specifications, and maintain cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced kitchen surrounded by live performances.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years of culinary experience, comfort with high-volume environments, and knowledge of sanitation standards. This role requires teamwork and a passion for delivering great fan experiences.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of culinary experience required.
• Experience in high-volume restaurants preferred.
• Knowledge and understanding of food service sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook dishes to specifications.
• Saute, grill, fry, bake, and roast; operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Follow standardized recipes and portion control to minimize waste.
• Read and execute orders from tickets or kitchen displays.
• Ensure food is served promptly and notify leadership of delays.
• Clean and organize all kitchen areas and equipment.
• Store food and chemicals properly and monitor temperatures.
• Close workstation, return supplies, and secure kitchen at shift end.
• Coordinate with dishwashers to replenish cookware; perform dishwashing as needed.
• Follow company service basics and report safety issues to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
