Job summary

Ryman Hospitality Properties is seeking a Line Cook to prepare ingredients, cook to specifications, and maintain clean, safe high-volume kitchen operations in our live-performance venues. You will work with a team to deliver delicious meals in a fast-paced environment.

You will follow standardized recipes, manage tickets, and ensure timely, high-quality service to guests before, during, and after performances.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1+ years of culinary experience required; high-volume restaurant experience preferred.
Knowledge of food service sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

Perform cooking procedures: sauté, grill, fry, bake, roast; operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
Execute knife skills: slice, chop, mince, julienne, dice; use knives and prep equipment safely per policy.
Follow standardized recipes and portion controls to minimize waste.
Read and quickly execute food orders from tickets or kitchen display systems.
Ensure food is served promptly and notify leadership of delays.
Clean and organize walk-in coolers, prep areas, equipment, and kitchen spaces.
Store food and chemicals correctly; label, date, and maintain proper temperatures.
Finish shift by cleaning station, storing supplies, and securing kitchen.
Follow company service basics, report accidents, facility issues, or unsafe conditions to management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
