LEGENDS & ASM Global is seeking a part-time cook at the Florence Civic Center in Florence, SC. The role prepares hot and cold foods to order, follows standardized recipes, and ensures quality and safety standards are met during service.

You will assist with inventory, set up stations, and maintain a clean, organized work area, while working flexible hours to meet event needs and guest demand.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail in food prep and plate presentation.
• Able to adapt to changing service levels and priorities.
• Knowledge of health codes and safe food handling.
• Willingness to work flexible, irregular hours.
• Ability to read and interpret recipes and prep lists.
• Basic knife skills for prep and mise en place.

Responsibilities

• Prepares hot and cold food to order as per recipes.
• Provides high-quality service to guests and colleagues.
• Follows food handling techniques to minimize waste and expense.
• Assists with opening and closing inventory counts.
• Sets station up based on par levels for service.
• Stores and handles raw and cooked foods properly.
• Follows temperature guidelines for food safety.
• Maintains sanitizer bucket and proper labeling of products.
• Operates kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Cook the exact number of items ordered, multi-tasking as needed.
• Distributes food to concession staff for service.
• Requests inventory refills promptly to meet guest requests.
• Keeps work area clean, organized, and sanitary.
• Cleans workstation at end of shift and ready for next shift.
