Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a part-time Cook for the Fishers Event Center to prepare items for suite orders, catering functions, and concessions. You will follow recipes, manage ingredients, and maintain sanitary work areas according to specifications.

Qualifications include a HS diploma or GED preferred, culinary training or relevant experience, and ServSafe is recommended. The role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays with strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recipes as directed; measure ingredients and prepare them in accordance with Chef’s specifications.
• Wash and peel ingredients for different meals.
• Cut and portion different types of meat according to specifications.
• Prepare different types of food, following recipes precisely.
• Accept or reject ingredients from suppliers based on appearance and quality.
• Track ingredient quantities to ensure enough for day/week/event.
• Store ingredients in dedicated containers to preserve quality.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces, tools, and the working area.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and monitor cooling rooms.
• Take direction well and follow safety and sanitary rules.
• Maintain safe working conditions and sanitary work area.
• Follow rules of SAVOR and ASM Global.
• Regular attendance is essential.
• Other duties as assigned
