Job summary

Encore Global in Orlando is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/conference environment, ensuring guest satisfaction. The role reports to the Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology.

Requires a High School Diploma; one year of customer service or hospitality experience; and basic AV exposure. A valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may apply.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment.
• Ensure events run smoothly and meet client expectations.
• Provide proactive customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and workflow in Navigator as needed.
• Coordinate with hotel staff and vendors for equipment and invoicing.
• Upsell equipment and assist with finalizing invoices.
