The DeSoto County Convention & Visitors Bureau is seeking an experienced Audio Visual Technician to manage A/V operations for events, utilizing expertise in sound, lighting, and show control systems. The role involves both office and event environments and requires adapting to an irregular schedule driven by deadlines.

You will be responsible for operating equipment, ensuring safety, and coordinating with staff and customers during events.

Qualifications

• Experience in Audio Visual and event production.
• Strong communication, reading, writing and speaking in English.
• Ability to work in a busy environment with interruptions.
• Valid state driver's license required.

Responsabilités

• Operate A/V equipment and resolve technical issues during events.
• Help train staff or volunteers as needed.
• Ensure work area is secure before departing each event.
• Coordinate with staff and customers to ensure smooth event execution.
