Job summary

Mystic Lake Casino is seeking an AV technician to provide setup, operation and technical support for audio-visual events in the Mystic Lake Center and other convention spaces on property.

Responsibilities include installing, configuring, repairing and upgrading equipment, operating mixers, switchers and lighting consoles, and assisting with inventory and end-user training as needed. Flexible schedule with benefits and weekly pay offered.

Qualifications

• 2 years of education/experience in technical/audio visual technology.
• Excellent interpersonal and sound judgment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong telephone, listening and communication skills.
• Valid Class D driver's license may be required.
• Availability for evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Setup, operate, maintain and configure AV equipment for onsite events.
• Assist with stage and room builds for conventions, weddings and entertainment events.
• Operate audio mixers, video switchers/encoders and lighting consoles.
• Manage inventory of AV equipment, cables and consumables.
• Hand over equipment to users and provide training as needed.
• Support other Marketing & Entertainment staff on AV tasks.
