Job summary

Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel in Morton, MN seeks an experienced AV Technician to install and configure AV systems for events, monitor and operate audio/video equipment, and troubleshoot issues to ensure top-quality productions.

You will manage inventory, transport gear, and coordinate with IT, Maintenance, Entertainment, and Banquets to support a wide range of events. Candidates typically have 1–3 years of AV experience and an AV-focused degree.

Qualifications

1–3 years of professional AV support experience.
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in AV Technology preferred.
Equivalent education/experience considered.

Responsibilities

Install and configure microphones, speakers, projectors, video monitors, cameras, lighting and related AV equipment.
Monitor and operate soundboards, video mixers, and recording equipment during events to ensure optimal audio and visual quality.
Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.
Perform routine equipment maintenance.
Ensure all AV systems function correctly.
Manage AV equipment inventory.
Safely transport and store gear.
Maintain cables, wiring, and accessories.
Work with Information Technology, Maintenance, Entertainment, Banquets, and other departments as applicable.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
