Job summary

Avalonvi in Kansas City is seeking an Event Assistant to help prepare, execute, and wrap up promotional events and customer engagement activities. You’ll work in an active team environment, welcoming attendees and ensuring smooth setup and breakdown.

The role focuses on hands-on event experience, learning about featured products and promotions, and delivering friendly, professional service. Prior event or customer service experience is a plus, with paid training and opportunities for advancement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Friendly and professional communication style.

• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
• Previous event, retail, customer service, or promotional experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup, including tables, displays, signage, and promotional materials
• Organize event supplies and equipment before activities begin
• Help welcome and assist attendees
• Provide basic information about featured products, services, and promotions
• Support event activities and customer engagement
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional event space
• Collect customer feedback and communicate observations to the team
• Assist with event breakdown and organization of materials after activities
