Job summary

AEG in Seattle is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to manage shows and promotions across venues, festivals, and clubs. You will develop promotional initiatives with artists and the community to build a positive brand image and may supervise interns and street team.

In this role you will coordinate media plans, create campaigns, manage social media, newsletters, and help with day-of-show activities, while monitoring budgets and reporting marketing costs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of related marketing/promotions experience.
• Experience calendaring events.
• Proficient in MS Office and Photoshop.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of the music industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains ad plans for AEG Presents shows, tours and festivals, and coordinates media buying.
• Create, preview and review press releases; coordinate distribution with publicist.
• Develop and manage social media accounts and online promotions.
• Monitor marketing trends regionally and target demographics for shows, tours and festivals.
• Coordinate day-of-show activities including radio, remote broadcasts, and media access.
• Manage weekly newsletters and e-cards using AXS Advantage tool.
• Maintain relationships with partners and media; organize promotions and meet-and-greets.
• May participate in hiring and training interns and street team.
