Job summary

AEG Presents in Seattle is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to manage marketing, social media, e-marketing, public relations, promotions for venues, tours, clubs, theaters, festivals and one-offs. This role develops promotional initiatives with artists and the community to promote a positive brand image.

The position may coordinate interns and street teams for show promotions and requires strong MS Office skills, basic accounting, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office and basic accounting concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Excellent PR skills with social media savvy and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; creative thinker.
• Knowledge of the music industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains ad plans for AEG Presents shows, tours and festivals; coordinates media buying and campaigns.
• Create, preview and review press releases; coordinate the distribution of press requests with publicist.
• Monitor marketing trends regionally and with artists; implement new strategies to target demographics.
• Coordinate and advance day-of-show activities including radio setups and remote broadcasts.
• Create and distribute weekly newsletters; manage e-cards and email blasts with AXS Advantage tool.
• Develop and manage social media accounts; collaborate with artists on promotions.
• Monitor budget and provide cost reports to management.
• Maintain relationships with partners, co-promoters and media; organize artist promotions and meet-and-greets.
• Assist in hiring/training interns and handling office admin duties.
