Job summary

Meter is seeking a Technician to own the live technical execution of enterprise network deployments. You will work directly with field technicians in real time, troubleshoot issues as they occur, and build systems that make installations effortless, ensuring every customer network goes online reliably.

You will act as the technical lead during deployments, resolve a wide range of networking issues, and sign off on installations only after everything is verified and up-to-date with NOS and HA

Qualifications

• Strong Layer 2/3 networking troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot ISP circuit turn-up and VLAN issues.
• Experience coordinating with field technicians during live deployments.
• A track record of documenting processes and improving deployment efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead on live install threads, coordinating pre-install calls and escalation paths.
• Troubleshoot issues in real time during installations, including VLAN, DHCP, and uplink problems.
• Own final technical sign-off before a network goes live, ensuring all hardware is online and configured.
• Document progress across deployments and push updates to project managers and stakeholders.
• Identify recurring failure patterns and collaborate on playbooks, tooling, or product fixes.
• Translate technician insights into hardware/software improvements for better field deployment.
