Job summary

Meter is seeking a skilled Technician Operations lead to manage live enterprise network deployments. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues in real time, partnering with field technicians to ensure installations are completed on schedule and to specification.

You will own the sign-off as the final technical gate before networks go live, document progress across deployments, and surface blockers early. The role emphasizes building scalable processes and tooling for field readiness.

Qualifications

• Strong Layer 2 and Layer 3 troubleshooting skills.
• Experience solving networking issues in real time during live deployments.
• Ability to own technical decisions and gate final sign-off before a network goes live.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead on live install threads and coordinate with field technicians.
• Troubleshoot issues mid-install (VLANs, DHCP, IPSec, HA failover, etc.).
• Own final technical gate before customer networks go live and ensure all components are online.
• Document progress and push updates to project managers and stakeholders.
• Identify recurring issues and help create playbooks, tooling, or product fixes.
• Translate technician insights into hardware/software improvements.
