Job summary

The NBA is seeking a detail-oriented Associate Manager, Digital Content Publisher to support day-to-day editorial publishing across NBA.com, the NBA App, push notifications, and League Pass surfaces. You will help showcase players and stories with speed, accuracy, and editorial excellence, coordinating live coverage and real-time updates for fans.

The role requires strong writing, CMS experience, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and variable hours aligned with NBA schedules.

Qualifications

2–5+ years in digital publishing or sports media.
In-depth basketball knowledge and familiarity with the WNBA.
Experience with CMS tools and editorial workflows.
Ability to publish real-time content under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Own real-time publishing during games, breaking news moments, and major league events across platforms.
Identify nightly storylines and elevate coverage; spin halo content for engagement.
Write and optimize copy and editorial elements across digital platforms.
Ensure publishing workflows, QA, scheduling, and content launches follow best practices.
Maintain daily homepage curation and editorial positioning across platforms.
Collaborate with league stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Monitor league developments and opportunities for real-time and evergreen content.
Explore new opportunities to utilize platforms for dynamic content with partners.
