Job summary

Hollywood Park is seeking a Video Engineer to deliver frontline broadcast engineering across SoFi Stadium, YouTube Theater, and control rooms. You will troubleshoot systems, manage updates, and maintain security policies while coordinating with IT and facilities teams.

With at least 5 years in sports/broadcast, a degree in video engineering, and strong communication, you’ll support live events, supervise staff, and help advance scalable broadcast infrastructure within a dynamic venue environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in sports/broadcast entertainment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical degree in video engineering.
• Exceptional communication skills and team collaboration.
• Ability to work under pressure during live events.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line broadcast engineering and technical support across SoFi Stadium, YouTube Theater and control rooms.
• Troubleshoot hardware and systems; comply with security policies and standards.
• Manage projects including system updates and maintenance.
• Install, maintain, operate and support complex broadcast systems (Ross Video, Evertz, Adder, Cisco, Sony).
• Demonstrate high engineering practices and understand CAD drawings and elevations.
• Assist users with equipment and IT-related difficulties; coordinate with IT staff.
• Plan equipment maintenance and facility improvements; coordinate with Directors.
• Monitor multicast IP routing and SMPTE 2110 architecture; update software on devices.
• Train and supervise staff; oversee contractors and external vendors when needed.
