Sinclair, Inc. is seeking a Master Control Operator to manage the multi-channel control point for Sinclair Television Stations in Hunt Valley, MD.

You will oversee live event operations, graphics insertion, playlist manipulation, and monitor on-air quality to ensure accurate content aligned with schedules. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to multitask across multiple playlists and monitors, and strong communication with managers and operators to ensure smooth shift transitions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in Master Control Operations.
• Experience in Local TV Station Operations.
• Experience in Switching Live Local News and Sporting Events.
• Great attention to detail and ability to multitask while monitoring multiple playlists and video monitors.
• Knowledge of broadcast tech such as switchers, server playout, automation systems, waveform monitors.

Responsibilities

• Operate the multi-channel and multi-brand control point for Sinclair Television Stations.
• Handle live event operations, graphics insertion, and playlist manipulation.
• Monitor on-air quality to ensure content airs accurately and reflects schedules.
• Follow standard operating procedures for networks, including disaster recovery.
• Modify and verify playlists for current and future times.
• Communicate discrepancies to Managers and coordinate with shifts.
• Record, ingest and prepare content for playout and ensure proper video routing.
