Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in Master Control Operations functions.
• Experience in Local TV Station Operations is a plus.
• Experience in Switching Live Local News and Sporting Events is a plus.
• Able to monitor multiple playlists and video monitors simultaneously.
• Knowledge of broadcast technology such as switchers, server playout, automation systems, waveform monitors and rasterizers.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Operate the multi-channel and multi-brand control point for Sinclair Television Stations in El Paso, TX.
• Perform live event operations and graphics insertion.
• Manipulate playlists and monitor on-air quality to ensure accurate content.
• Communicate discrepancies to Managers and Operators.
• Ensure proper video routing and content ingestions for playout.
• Record, ingest and prepare content for playout.
