Job summary

Sinclair, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBGI) is seeking a Master Control Operator for Sinclair Television Stations in Hunt Valley, MD.

You will operate the multi-brand control point, handle live events, graphics insertion, and playlist management while monitoring on-air quality to ensure accurate broadcasts. Qualifications include a minimum of 3 years in Master Control, familiarity with broadcast systems, and the ability to multitask under pressure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in Master Control Operations functions.
• Experience in Local TV Station Operations is a plus.
• Experience in Switching Live Local News and Sporting Events is a plus.
• Must have great attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Understanding of broadcast technology and standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate the multi-channel and multi-brand control point for Sinclair Television Stations.
• Perform live event operations and graphics insertion.
• Modify and verify playlists for current and future broadcast times.
• Monitor on-air quality and ensure content airs accurately.
• Communicate discrepancies to Managers and ensure smooth shift transitions.
• Setup and review content prior to scheduled airtime.
• Support 24/7 operations including holidays and weekends.
