Job summary

FOX Television Stations is seeking a Broadcast Maintenance Engineer for WITI FOX6 to keep 24/7 operations running smoothly. You will perform preventative maintenance, rapid troubleshooting, and precise equipment installation to minimize downtime during live broadcasts.

The role requires hands-on technical skill with broadcast systems and the ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in television/radio broadcast engineering or a related technical field.
• Proactive thinker who anticipates operational needs and communicates under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• System Integration: design, install, test, and document new hardware and software systems.
• Technical Support: rapid troubleshooting and repairs to minimize airtime interruptions.
• Network Security: manage data networks while adhering to information security policies.
• Operational Training: provide guidance and training on workflows and equipment use.
• Preventative Maintenance: perform routine updates and system checks.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: ensure departments have the tools they need to succeed.
