Job summary

FOX Television Stations is seeking a temporary Production Automation Technician for an 8-week assignment to support live newscasts at a state-of-the-art facility.

The role requires a 2-year technical degree in Electronics or IT and up to 1 year of related experience. You will operate automated control room systems, production switchers, and robotic cameras, coordinating with Producers and technicians to ensure smooth on-air delivery.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree in Electronics or IT required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience in Production Automation Technician, Director, Technical Director, Production Technician, or Master Control Technician.
• Working knowledge of Windows OS, iNews, and core industry broadcast software applications.

Responsibilities

• Operate Sony ELC Production Automation System and production equipment during live broadcasts.
• Collaborate with Producers, Studio Technicians, and Control Room Technicians on fast-paced newscasts.
• Perform essential studio duties and keep equipment and floor ready for live productions.
