Job summary

Wulf Talent Hunters in Delaware seeks a Live Accounting Manager to own the general ledger for the live operations, covering growers, farms, and the animals that keep the operation running. You will build and maintain practices that keep financial reporting accurate and on time, then lead a small team doing the same work every day, balancing spreadsheets with meetings.

You will supervise the live accounting team, coordinate with auditors and corporate accounting, and drive timely month-end closes

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
5–7 years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
CPA preferred; IFRS experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Oversee general ledger activity for live operations, including budgeting and cost control.
Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries as needed.
Review balance sheet accounts to confirm they match supporting documentation.
Make sure every operating department posts weekly data on time and in full.
Review weekly cost estimates and grower performance reports.
Own the month end close for live accounting and hit every deadline.
Coordinate year end inventory inspections with external auditors.
Partner with corporate accounting to prepare quarterly financial statements.
