Job summary

Saint Raphael the Archangel Catholic Parish in Raleigh seeks a Liturgy Coordinator to plan and coordinate liturgical and sacramental celebrations in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. The role recruits and trains parish volunteers and works closely with clergy, the Music Director, and ministry leaders to ensure vibrant worship experiences.

The position is full-time, on-site, and requires availability for weekend Masses, Holy Days, and special seasons.

Qualifications

• Must be a practicing Roman Catholic with parish ministry experience.
• Demonstrates collaborative ministry and commitment to Church vision.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and written/spoken communication skills.
• Proficient in or willing to learn Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Planning Center, ParishSOFT.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule liturgical and sacramental celebrations in multiple languages.
• Recruit, train, and schedule liturgical ministers (altar servers, sacristans, lectors, Eucharistic ministers, etc.).
• Coordinate with clergy, Music Director, and ministry leaders for worship services.
• Facilitate monthly meetings with liturgical ministry leaders.
• Oversee worship environment within budget and parish norms, honoring cultural diversity.
• Manage liturgical supplies inventory and maintenance of items.
• Schedule clergy using Planning Center and Google Calendar.
• Prepare reader documents for Masses and Holy Days.
• Participate in regular staff meetings.
