Role Description: The Litigation Support Analyst is a full-time, hybrid role based in New York, NY. The Litigation Support Analyst plays a crucial role within the Litigation Support Department, assisting with eDiscovery program delivery and providing critical data management support to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of legal proceedings. In this role, you will bolster the technology roadmap for eDiscovery, drive cross-functional programs across the firm with our vendors, and stand up AI-powered capabilities that transform how Curtis Mallet manages litigation support. You will report to the Litigation Support Manager, and lead programs spanning the full eDiscovery lifecycle—from data collection through production—while building the systems and vendor partnerships that reduce cost and accelerate outcomes.
The Litigation Support team is data-driven and systems-oriented—measuring what matters and automate where necessary. This role requires someone who can provide E-discovery tool training instructions for an attorney on the fly, run an AI pilot, draft a cost estimate with limited information, and assist higher level results presentation to partner-level stakeholders in the same week. You will operate with high autonomy in ambiguous environments with case teams new to legal technology and workflows, working across IT, legal, and vendor teams to deliver without direct authority over resources. This role involves access to confidential legal information and requires a high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
The candidate should be detail‑oriented, highly organized, and have exceptional time‑management skills, allowing the candidate to efficiently handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. The candidate’s strong analytical and critical thinking abilities would be complemented by impeccable written and verbal communication skills. The candidate would have a track record of effectively coordinating with case teams and would possess the ability to generate comprehensive reports and data summaries. Their commitment to confidentiality, ethical standards, and continuous professional development would drive them to deliver high‑quality work‑product. Additionally, the candidate would be a proactive, self‑motivated team player with strong problem‑solving skills in a fast‑paced and dynamic legal environment.
