Qualifications

• Approximately 4-6+ years of relevant experience in family court proceedings involving Article 10 termination of parental rights.
• Experience supervising and mentoring legal staff.
• JD required.
• Experience with ancillary proceedings.
• Strong teamwork and communications skills.
• Critical thinker with excellent problem solving skills.
• Experience with training, program development or organizational development a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.

Litigation Supervisor - Family Defense

Salary Range: $111,500 to $135,000 per year, based on experience

Terrific Litigation Supervisor position with a nonprofit legal defense organization in New York City. The Litigation Supervisor will work within the organization's Family Defense Practice in Staten Island providing management to family defense cases, particularly Article 10 cases. The position will be part of a highly collaborative interdisciplinary team and will directly supervise 4-5 staff attorneys.
