Job summary

Confidential Medical Devices Leader seeks an Associate Litigation & Risk Management Counsel to join its legal team, supporting litigation, risk management, and regulatory compliance functions in a highly regulated environment.

The role partners with business stakeholders, coordinates with outside counsel, and helps review marketing materials for compliance while shaping strategies to mitigate legal exposure in product liability and regulatory matters.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
• Approximately 5+ years of litigation experience gained within a law firm and/or in-house legal department.
• Experience managing litigation, claims, investigations, and dispute resolution matters.
• Knowledge of product liability, regulatory, and risk management matters preferred.
• Medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or broader life sciences industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the company's litigation and claims management activities across a variety of legal matters.
• Assist with the defense and management of litigation, product liability matters, regulatory issues, and internal investigations.
• Partner with outside counsel on depositions, witness preparation, mediations, and other litigation-related matters.
• Review marketing and promotional materials to support compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
• Support risk management initiatives and help develop strategies to mitigate legal exposure.
